The Thought Projects Pte. Ltd. is a start-up offering next-generation cybersecurity solutions. We specialize in quantum-safe data protection technology, especially in security evaluation and vulnerability testing of quantum-based hardware. We are also building novel networking and computing architectures that are secure by design.
We are looking for a quantum optics hardware engineer to help us perform security evaluation and acceptance testing of quantum key distribution systems. You will be part of a team to research and develop new test methods and discover new vulnerabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor/Master’s degree in physics or electronics engineering.
- Able to handle lasers, photodetectors and fiber optics in a laboratory.
- Preferably have hands-on experience with quantum optics hardware in the laboratory, including single-photon detectors and quantum-entangled sources.
- Good programming skills in C/C++ and Python.
Responsibilities
- Perform security evaluation and acceptance testing of quantum key distribution systems.
- Research and develop new test methods.
- Look for vulnerabilities and propose countermeasures.
